Forty-seven metres of steel, built as an explorer. That word is used loosely in this industry and here it is accurate: the hull is built for long range and heavy weather, which is a different specification from a yacht built to look correct at anchor in July.

What it buys you is choice. An explorer does not have to plan the week around sheltered water and short hops, so the itinerary can include the crossings other yachts of this size avoid and the anchorages they leave when the forecast turns in the evening.

Ten guests across five cabins, two to a room, nothing folded out to make the numbers work. It is a small number for forty-seven metres, and the space per person that results is the real luxury aboard: cabins that are rooms, and deck space that never has to be shared out.

Nine crew look after those ten. That ratio is close to one each, and on a yacht built to go further it is the necessary half of the equation: range is only useful if the standard of the day holds up two hundred miles from a provisioning port.

Tender and toy capacity is generous, which follows from the type. Explorers are built with the deck strength and the crane capacity to carry serious equipment, so what comes aboard is decided by what the week needs rather than by what will physically fit.

She was delivered in 2016 by Dunya Yachts. A decade of use on a steel hull is nothing, and it means the boat has been through the seasons that find the weaknesses in a new yacht, with a crew who by now know precisely how she behaves.

She is available across the Mediterranean, not only in one corner of it. That matters for a yacht of this type: the point of long range is being able to use it, and the itineraries that suit her best are the ones that cross from one basin to another.

Choose her if the week you want is not the standard one. If the plan is the Riviera in August she will do it perfectly well; if the plan involves distance, weather and places with no marina, she is the yacht here that was built for it.
