How you want to spend the week

People enquire by occasion rather than by hull: a wedding, a week with children, a day out from Positano. Start here and we will match the boat to it.

Six ways a week gets used, and they ask different things of a boat: a day out, a full week aboard, a wedding or a milestone birthday, a company offsite, a family holiday, or a week planned around the tables.

A day charter is the coast at the hours worth seeing. Out after breakfast, back before dinner, with the middle of the day spent swimming rather than travelling, which is what the Amalfi Coast and the Bay of Naples are built for.

A week aboard is the opposite discipline. One cruising ground, an itinerary that bends when the wind does, and a boat that has to be comfortable at anchor for seven nights rather than impressive for one afternoon.

Celebrations and corporate weeks are logistics before they are yachting. A wedding party on one yacht or spread across a small group of them; an offsite where the schedule has to hold because people have flights to catch.

Family charters usually end on catamarans: shallow anchorages, flat decks and a crew who have done this with children before. Fifteen of the seventy-three boats are catamarans, which is why that request is an easy one to answer.

Tell us the occasion and the dates and the boat follows: forty-seven motor yachts, fifteen catamarans and eleven sailing yachts, crewed or skippered depending on the boat, from bases across the Mediterranean.
