Most motor yachts of forty-four metres put the tenders on the foredeck. It is the obvious place: flat, out of the way, close to the crane. The consequence is that the front third of the yacht becomes a working area, and guests spend the week at the back.

Mangusta made the opposite choice on Eva4Eva. The forward deck carries a pool and a sun terrace.

That decision reorganises the day. The bow of a yacht at anchor is the quiet end — no tender traffic, no crew passing through, and the boat lies head to wind so the air moves. Put a pool there and it becomes the place people actually sit, which means the yacht has two centres of gravity instead of one, and twelve guests stop competing for the same aft deck.

Twelve guests across six cabins: an even two per cabin, six couples, or a family travelling in pairs, with no odd berth to negotiate over. Among them is a full-beam owner's suite — full-beam meaning the cabin runs the entire width of the hull, with windows on both sides, which at forty-four and a half metres is a genuinely large room rather than a slightly better cabin.

Seven crew look after those twelve. On a yacht designed around outdoor living that number is spent visibly: the pool needs attending, the sun terrace needs resetting, and meals move between decks rather than staying in one dining room.

She was delivered in 2025, and the newness shows in the layout rather than in the finish — which is a compliment to the finish. Interiors of this class age slowly. Deck plans do not: a yacht drawn ten years ago would not have given up the foredeck.

She suits a group that wants a modern yacht without wanting a fast one, and that will use the outside rather than cross it on the way to dinner. Six couples fit exactly.

She cruises easily at eleven knots, and she is available across the Mediterranean. Eleven knots is not a headline speed and is not meant to be. It is the pace at which a coast is worth looking at, and at which a pool on the bow stays usable while the yacht is moving.
