Agape Rose
Twenty-two guests across eleven cabins
Aboard Agape Rose
Eleven is the number to start with. Eleven cabins, on a hull of forty-eight point three metres, sleeping twenty-two guests, which is roughly twice what a yacht of this length normally carries. That capacity is not the result of pushing extra berths into corners. Agape Rose was built and classed to take twenty-two people, an entirely different proposition, and almost everything else about her follows from it.
Thirteen crew, for one. Twenty-two guests aboard for a week generate a volume of work that a standard complement of eight or nine could not absorb: cabins turned round, meals for a crowd running on different timetables, tenders coming and going, toys in and out of the water all afternoon. Thirteen is the number that keeps the day moving without the guests noticing the effort behind it. Thirteen against twenty-two is close to two guests per crew member, which is not a smaller yacht's ratio stretched thin over a bigger one but the same ratio held in place despite the numbers.
The group she was drawn for is specific. A wedding party that would otherwise be scattered across three hotels. Three generations of one family, grandparents included, each household in its own cabin rather than sharing. A company taking its senior team away with the express intention of keeping everyone in one place. The usual alternative is two yachts, which means two anchorages, two dinners, a tender shuttling between them and half the party permanently missing whatever the other half is doing. Agape Rose is simply large enough for that problem not to arise.
The toy inventory is scaled to the same brief. A slide off the side, jet skis, paddleboards and inflatables, enough that twenty-two people can be occupied at the same time rather than waiting a polite turn. On a full boat, quantity matters as much as the individual items do.
She was delivered in 2024, so this is a recent design built for the purpose rather than an older hull adapted to it, and she is available across the Mediterranean. On most charters the guest list gets trimmed to fit the cabins. Here the arithmetic runs the other way: you decide who is coming, and there is a yacht that will take all of them.
