Sorrento sits on the hinge of the bay: Capri is forty minutes one way, the Amalfi Coast forty minutes the other, and the coves of the peninsula are on the doorstep. For a charter that wants options rather than a single destination, it is the most useful place on this coast to start from.
Three directions from one port
West to Capri: the Faraglioni, the grottoes and Marina Piccola, with the crossing short enough to be a comfortable morning.
South round the peninsula to Nerano, the Bay of Ieranto and Cala di Mitigliano — protected water, some of the clearest on the coast, and the best seafood in the region at Marina del Cantone.
East along the Amalfi cliffs to Positano and Amalfi, with the whole UNESCO coastline in one run.
